Tightens under tension
A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO CHASTITY
Most people assume it works through simple friction against the glans corona. It doesn’t. The Grip uses a self-tightening mechanism that increases hold under tension, similar to a finger trap. Simple lube won't stop The Grip.

FAQs
Will it work for a grower?
The Grip is designed to accommodate natural size changes. All sizing for The Grip is based on your flaccid measurements, not erect size. Once secured, the shaft cage limits expansion in the area that’s locked, so growth is controlled where it matters. Proper sizing ensures it stays secure without needing to compensate for growth.
How does it stay on? Do you need a piercing?
The Grip uses a patent pending glans ring mechanism to hold on to the penis shaft. No piercing is neccessary The mechanism for the glans ring causes the ring to clamp down on the shaft when you try to pull it off.
Can you just add some lube and pull it off?
No. The Grip doesn't use friction to stay on. It creates a clamping action. It doesn't put much pressure on the glans and instead diverts its pressure directly into the shaft. Soap or lube don't really matter. Pulling on it while soaped up will trigger the same clamping action. It is as secure as any ball trap style device. Many people find it more secure.
The grip also provides a high level of accountability. You may find a way to escape from the device, but it is near impossible to put back on without unlocking. Your keyholder will know if you have been without your cage for any period of time.
Does it hurt when you get hard?
No. the shaft portion of the cage limits how much your penis can actually swell. When properly sized, there is only about a 25% difference between the ring and the shaft, so the penis cannot swell enough to cause pain.
What stops you from masturbating?
The Grip works like most other shaft-only devices. It allows you to have an erection, but you can’t actually reach the sensitive parts. For about 95% of people, that’s enough. A small number of users can still climax by stroking just the exposed shaft, but they would have the same issue with any shaft-only chastity device. Many users also say that using a vibrator, the most common way to “cheat” a chastity device, is more difficult while wearing The Grip.
Will it work for uncircumcised users?
For many, yes; but not all. There are a few different ways people wear The Grip depending on comfort and anatomy. The most common approach is retracting the foreskin and positioning the ring behind the corona.
Some users size the shaft so it keeps the foreskin retracted. Others allow the foreskin to sit naturally inside the shaft. A few have even had success wearing it over the foreskin.
There isn’t a single “correct” way — but we’ve seen successful use across multiple approaches.
